Opened in 2006, Athletes and Authors Summer Academy is a fun and unique summer camp for children ages 7 to 15. Our mission is to teach positive values through academic and athletic activities. Campers engage daily in various team sport activities along with exciting classroom sessions that reinforce language arts concepts taught through the regular school year. Athletes and Authors Summer Academy also offers an overnight adventure camp experience at the facilities of NorthBay, which is located in North East, MD in Cecil County. At NorthBay, campers participate in kayaking, ropes courses, zip lines, and much more! Please explore our website for more information on our two camp offerings.

Thank you for visiting the Athletes and Authors Summer Academy website. The 2011 session, both day camp and the overnight NorthBay program, were amazing! As the staff wrapped up the camp’s 6th summer, it was evident that our mission to teach positive values through athletic and academic experiences is stronger than ever! And…we had a blast doing it.
